Cherry bowl

Hand carved from green wood, this medium size, open form bowl was shaped with a drawknife on the exterior and gouges on the interior. The exterior was coated with food safe milk paint, then rubbed back to give the mottled appearance due to the faceted surface. The interior is unpainted, and all surfaces of the bowl have been sealed with food safe tung oil.
